About the Role

We are seeking a Senior RPA Developer with deep expertise in Automation Anywhere A360 and Python-based automation to design, develop, and deploy end-to-end automation solutions that streamline business operations. You will play a key role in automating manual, high-volume processes, integrating enterprise systems such as SAP, and driving process efficiency across the organization.

The ideal candidate combines strong RPA fundamentals with hands-on Python development and a working knowledge of modern AI-assisted development tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement scalable automation solutions using Automation Anywhere A360 and Python.

• Build bots and code-based automations for high-volume, repetitive tasks, and optimize existing automations for performance and reliability.

• Develop event-driven automations using triggers such as email, file system, database, and API events.

• Integrate automations with third-party and enterprise applications, including SAP, REST/SOAP APIs, and SQL/NoSQL databases.

• Implement robust exception handling, error logging, retry logic, and audit mechanisms in all bots and scripts.

• Monitor and maintain bot performance metrics using Bot Insight and manage the bot lifecycle via the Control Room.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development , improve code quality, and enhance automation design.

• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, credential management, and governance policies.

• Provide technical documentation, knowledge transfer, and ongoing support for deployed automations.

• Work independently across multiple projects and deliver within tight deadlines.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Automation Anywhere (A360 required; V11 experience a plus).

• Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience in Python-based automation development, including scripting, API integration, data processing, and error handling.

• Strong understanding of the full RPA lifecycle, bot deployment, and Control Room administration.

• Proven experience building event-driven automations, not limited to scheduled or time-based bots.

• Real-world SAP integration experience (production implementations, not just PoCs).

• Working knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and database systems (SQL/NoSQL).

• Strong analytical thinking and debugging skills, with the ability to work through scenario-based technical challenges.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantage)

• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Cowork, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, or similar AI code-development platforms.

• Experience with the Databricks platform (notebooks, workflows, or data pipelines).

• Experience with other RPA platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate.

• Knowledge of bot security, credential vaulting, and scalable automation architecture.

• Proficiency in additional scripting languages such as VBScript or PowerShell.
