Drawbench Operator - 3rd Shift

Job Description:

Drawing and producingsolid wire forpackaging according toRoute Card /process sheet and production schedule requirements. 

• Operate safely andidentify, report, and correctunsafe situations. 

• Followprocess specifications for machine setup and production. 

• Complete machine setup, change over, and troubleshootingin a timely manner. 

• Perform specified qualitychecks including visual inspections. 

• Enter data in Route Card including quality checks and productspecification. 

• Place nonconforming products on hold. 

• Report maintenance issues as they arise. 

• Operate a forklift and electric pallet jack.  

• Perform restock and housekeeping. 

• Read andfollowproductionschedule. 

• Willing to train on andoperate other machines / processes, as necessary. 

• Run multiple machines simultaneously. 

• Monitor multiple liquid tanks forappropriate fill level and temperature.  

Qualifications 

• TrainingonapplicableDraw Benchmachinery ispreferred.  

• Previous forklift experience is preferred but notrequired. 

• Able tosafelyload / unload reels in and out of machine. 

• Able to meet/exceed specified production rates. 

• Possessan excellent quality record. 

• Able to work overtime whenrequired. 

• Able to meet expectations for safety, attendance, and time management. 

• Possessan excellent attitude, communication, andteam working skills. 

• Able to work continuously in a non-climate-controlled environment.
