Junior Planner

We are seeking aJunior Planner to join ourMineMaintenancedepartment at Rosebel Gold Mines.

As a Junior Planner, you will assist in the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment reliability and performance. You will support the Maintenance department by working with theOracle eAM Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

This position plays a key role in maintaining the availability of critical mining assets through accurate planning and coordination of maintenance tasks.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Efficiently develop and maintain weekly maintenance schedules for assigned equipment sections based on preventive maintenance (PM) requirements, hour meter readings, and operational priorities.

• Accurately create and process corrective work orders, requisitions, and inventory/direct charge (DC) parts requests to support timely maintenance activities.

• Proactively monitor and manage maintenance backlogs, identify planning issues, and provide feedback to Senior Planners to improve work order planning and execution.

• Effectively maintain maintenance records by processing SOS samples, updating daily shift reports, entering hour meter and fuel consumption data, and closing completed work orders in the CMMS.

• Actively support maintenance planning activities by assisting with item creation requests, bills of materials development, inventory replenishment reporting, and other departmental projects as assigned

The ideal candidate will have:

• A higher secondary technical diploma inMechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferable in maintenance and mining

• Strong knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably Oracle eAM

• Excellent skills in maintenance planning and scheduling.

• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple maintenance activities in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to work in Brokopondo on a rotational schedule of 14 days of work followed by 7 days break

• Good communication and interpersonal skills in Dutch and English.

• If selected, you will be required to submit a Police Clearance Certificate (“Bewijs van Goed Gedrag”). Please initiate the request at your respective District Commissariat.
