Technology Applications & Training Specialist

Job Summary

Omninet is seeking a Technology Applications & Training Specialist to support the business applications our teams use every day, with a strong emphasis on EliseAI, Yardi, and other property management and operational platforms.

This role will serve as an internal expert and first point of contact for system training, troubleshooting, user access, and day-to-day application support. A significant part of the role will be helping employees understand how to use our technology effectively and improve adoption.

EliseAI will be a critical area of responsibility. This individual will be expected to become a go-to resource for the platform, understand its workflows and functionality, train teams on best practices, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure we are maximizing the value of the system.

Success means our teams have an internal resource who understands both the technology and how our business uses it. Employees should be able to get faster answers, receive stronger training, use EliseAI and Yardi more effectively, and rely less on third-party support for routine application needs.

Responsibilities

Application Support & Expertise

• Serve as an internal subject matter resource for EliseAI, Yardi, and other core business applications.
• Develop deep expertise in EliseAI functionality, workflows, integrations, and best practices.
• Provide day-to-day support for system questions, user issues, access problems, and basic troubleshooting.
• Work directly with employees to resolve issues before escalating to external vendors or third-party support.
• Coordinate with software providers and internal stakeholders when more complex issues require escalation.
• Track recurring system issues and identify opportunities for longer-term solutions.

Training & Technology Adoption

• Lead technology training for employees across the organization.
• Provide one-on-one, small-group, and broader team training on EliseAI, Yardi, and other platforms.
• Support new hires with system orientation and application training.
• Develop easy-to-use training guides, FAQs, videos, and other resources.
• Reinforce consistent system usage and best practices across properties and teams.
• Identify areas where employees need additional training and proactively build support around those needs.
• Assist with the rollout and adoption of new technology, system updates, and new functionality.

Onboarding, Offboarding & Access

• Coordinate application access and credentials for new employees.
• Ensure employees have the appropriate systems and permissions based on their role.
• Support changes in access when employees transfer or change responsibilities.
• Assist with timely removal of system access during employee offboarding.
• Maintain clear processes and documentation around system access and permissions.

Property & Asset Transitions

• Support application-related needs during property acquisitions, onboarding, transitions, and dispositions.
• Assist with user setup, property configuration, system access, and other technology requirements.
• Coordinate across Operations, HR, Accounting, IT, and outside vendors to ensure smooth transitions.
• Maintain checklists and repeatable processes for technology-related property onboarding and offboarding.

Process Improvement

• Partner with teams to understand how technology is being used in day-to-day operations.
• Identify recurring pain points, manual processes, and opportunities to improve workflows.
• Help teams make better use of existing technology before adding additional tools or processes.
• Document key processes and support the development of consistent operating procedures.
• Assist with testing new system functionality, workflows, and enhancements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience supporting business applications, property management systems, technology training, or a similar function.
• Experience with EliseAI strongly preferred and considered a key qualification for the role.
• Experience with Yardi strongly preferred.
• Multifamily or property management experience preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
• Experience training employees with varying levels of technical proficiency.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, practical way.
• Patient, approachable, and highly service-oriented.
• Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working across departments and supporting both corporate and property-level employees.
