Primary Job Summary

The Operations Project Manager plays a key role in executing Munters’ global transformation programs, with an initial and primary focus on the Transformation Towards Operational Excellence (TTOE) initiative.

A core element of this transformation is the implementation of DCTOne, a unified ERP platform supported by harmonized and standardized processes across regions and sites within the Data Centers Technologies business area.

The Operations Project Manager leads and coordinates the Operations workstream, covering product and part data management, planning, and manufacturing processes. The role works closely with Local Process Owners, Super Users, application specialists, while actively fostering cross-functional alignment across all workstreams.

Duties and Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

• Develop and maintain detailed sub-project plans aligned with the overall project timeline.

• Coordinate activities within the assigned workstream, ensuring dependencies are managed and progress, risks, and issues are regularly reported to project management.

Stakeholder, Scope & Requirements Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders within the workstream scope, ensuring stakeholder needs are understood and reflected in solution design and delivery.

• Gather and validate requirements, ensure scope is clearly defined and controlled throughout the project lifecycle, and collaborate with Super Users, Local Process Owners, and application specialists to translate requirements into feasible functionality.

Risk, Resources & Quality Management

• Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues within the workstream, escalating critical risks and developing mitigation and contingency plans with project management.

• Monitor resource allocation and utilization within the workstream and manage resource changes when needed.

• Plan and coordinate testing activities, ensuring test cases are aligned with business scenarios and coordinating defect resolution and retesting.

Change Management

• Act as a change ambassador within the functional area, promoting awareness, engagement, and buy-in for new processes and solutions.

Travel Requirement

• International travel may be required to support global program execution, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration across regions and operational sites. Travel requirements will vary depending on project phases and business needs and will be aligned with manager guidance.Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is considered a plus.
• Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing, planning, supply chain, or other operational processes is preferred.
