Financial Controller

In this role, you will oversee the financial operations, controls, reporting, and commercial support functions of the business while serving as the key link between the operating companies and the Rohloff Shared Services Centre (RSC). You will provide financial insight, ensWhat You'll Be Cooking Up:ure reporting accuracy, drive cash flow performance, and lead the Accounts and Sales Coordination teams to support business growth and profitability.

What You'll Be Cooking Up:

Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee the financial operations of Panterra and PartsCorp.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end reporting submissions.
• Prepare and review management reports, financial analyses, and performance dashboards.
• Monitor business performance and investigate significant variances.
• Provide actionable financial insights to support decision-making.
• Ensure reporting integrity and compliance with financial policies.

Cash Flow & Working Capital Management

• Manage and monitor cash flow performance and forecasting.
• Ensure forecast accuracy and identify potential cash flow risks.
• Drive working capital optimization initiatives.
• Support business leaders in maintaining strong financial discipline.

Debtors & Creditors Management

• Oversee debtors and creditors processes and controls.
• Monitor debtor days and implement strategies to improve collections.
• Ensure creditor reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
• Partner with Shared Services to resolve outstanding queries and improve efficiencies.

Commercial Finance & Profitability Analysis

• Provide financial and commercial support to business leaders.
• Conduct profitability analysis and margin reviews.
• Support pricing decisions with financial insights and recommendations.
• Analyze sales performance trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure quotation governance and margin compliance standards are maintained.

Shared Services Coordination

• Act as the primary liaison between operating businesses and Rohloff Shared Services Centre (RSC).
• Ensure financial queries and requests are resolved within agreed service levels.
• Drive effective collaboration between finance teams and operational stakeholders.
• Monitor service delivery and identify opportunities for process improvements.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, coach, and develop the Accounts and Sales Coordination teams.
• Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Set clear objectives and monitor team KPI achievement.
• Support employee growth through coaching, mentoring, and feedback.

Controls, Governance & Compliance

• Maintain strong internal financial controls and governance practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
• Monitor and mitigate financial risks.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Drive compliance with reporting and financial control standards.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

• Identify opportunities to improve financial and operational processes.
• Drive automation and efficiency initiatives.
• Enhance reporting capabilities and financial controls.
• Support ERP optimization initiatives, particularly within Business Central.
• Lead projects that improve business performance and financial visibility.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Bachelor's Degree in: Finance, Accounting, Financial Management, or related field
• Minimum 5 years experience in financial or commercial finance environment 
• Minimum 2 years leadership experience 
  
• Experience in financial reporting and financial analysis 
• Strong debtors and creditor management experience 
• Proven cash flow management and forecasting expierence
• Experience working within a multi-company enviroment
• Strong understanding of budgeting, controls, and financial governance
• Experience using ERP systems. preferably Business Central 
• Experience working with shared services structure 
• Commercial finance and business partnering experience 
• Strong understanding of budgeting, controls, and financial governance
• Strong reporting and analytical skills 
• Experience leading and developing finance teams
