- Performhost driver validation and integration testing for embedded systems
- Executetest scenarios on target hardware platforms
- Develop and maintainautomated test scripts for driver validation
- Debug and analyzedriver-level issues on Linux/QNX platforms
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamlessintegration of drivers with hardware
- Work closely with cross-functional teams forend-to-end validation
2. Embedded Unit Testing
- Performunit testing of embedded software components written in C
- Develop and executeunit test cases using Cantata
- Ensurecode coverage, static/dynamic analysis, and quality metrics
- Reviewdetailed design documents and derive test strategies
- Validate compliance withcoding standards and testing best practices
- Identify defects early and supportroot cause analysis
Required Skills & Expertise
Core Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency inC programming (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience withRobot Framework for test automation
- Good understanding ofembedded systems and device driver concepts
- Experience withLinux/QNX operating systems
- Knowledge ofhardware integration and validation
- Experience inunit testing frameworks (Cantata preferred)
- Strong understanding ofsoftware testing concepts:
- Unit testing
- Integration testing
- Test case design
- Regression testing
- Understanding ofdetailed design (LLD) and requirement analysis
Good to Have
- Experience withhardware debugging tools (Oscilloscope, JTAG, Trace tools)
- Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines for test automation
- Experience inPython scripting (for Robot Framework enhancement)
