Sr. Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Ingram Micro is looking for a highly skilledSr. Software Engineer (Full Stack) with deep expertise in end-to-end web application development to join our IT and Engineering team.

The primary responsibility of this role is the hands-on design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performing web applications powered by.NET Core, React, and robust SQL database architectures. As a full-stack engineer, you will focus on building rich, responsive user interfaces and high-throughput microservices that power Ingram Micro’s global digital platform,Ingram Micro Xvantage™.

Secondary focus areas include deploying and running these solutions withinGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) and leveraging modernAI tools and GenAI capabilities to augment application functionality and developer productivity.

Your Role

• Primary Focus – Full Stack Engineering:
  • Design, develop, test, and ship end-to-end full-stack capabilities, balancing seamless front-end user experiences with resilient, secure backend services.
  • Build modern, responsive front-end SPAs and micro-frontends usingReact, TypeScript, and state management libraries.
  • Architect, build, and optimize backend web APIs, microservices, and business logic using.NET Core / C#.
  • Write complexSQL queries, design database schemas, build stored procedures, and optimize data access layers for maximum speed and data integrity.
  • Experience in using with tools like Visual Studio Code for development, BitBucket as source code repository
  • Knowledge of either Mocha / Jasmine / Jest for Unit Testing
  • Development experience in Agile Scrum model
• Secondary Focus – Cloud Infrastructure & AI Integration:
  • Package and deploy full-stack applications toGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) using containerization (Docker) and serverless services.
  • Integrate secondary AI capabilities (e.g., Gemini/LLM APIs, intelligent search, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted development tooling) to enhance application workflows.
  • Apply a solid DevOps mindset to build unit tests, support CI/CD pipelines, and monitor application health across the full lifecycle.

What You Bring to the Role

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Experience:3-5+ years of core software engineering experience centered on full-stack web development.
• Core Technical Skills (Primary Focus):
  • Backend: Deep hands-on expertise in.NET Core / C#, REST API design, OOP principles, and microservices architecture.
  • Frontend: Advanced proficiency inReact (Hooks, Redux/Context API, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, Component-driven design).
  • Database: Strong command ofSQL and Relational Databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Cloud SQL) with proven query optimization skills.
• Secondary & Supporting Skills:
  • Working knowledge of cloud deployment models onGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) (e.g., Cloud Run, GKE, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL).
  • Familiarity with practicalAI/GenAI integrations (e.g., Gemini APIs, Copilot, vector search) to enrich application feature sets.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum sprints, automated testing frameworks, and continuous integration (CI/CD) workflows.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and code debugging abilities.
• Focus on clean code, security best practices (OWASP), and frontend-to-backend performance tuning.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills across distributed Agile teams.
