Located in Templeton amongst the oak trees, Adventist Health Twin Cities has been serving northern San Luis Obispo County since 1977. Job Summary: Perform the professional functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. Coordinate, manage, provide and delegate patient care. Responsible for meeting the established Standards of Nursing Practice, and promoting cooperation among the health care team. In addition, the Registered Nurse shall meet personal accountabilities as defined in the Tenet Standards of Conduct, Service, People, Quality, Growth and Cost. Assit under the direction of the primary operating surgeon in the perioperative care of the patients undergoing a surgical experience. The RNFA functions within the policies and guidelines established by the facility and reports directly to Director of Perioperative Services. The RNFA is an expanded role of the registered nurse and is accountable for exemplifying leadership and professionalism in the implementation of the role. This position is represented by CNA. Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience: Graduate of a school of nursing: Required Certification of completion of an approved didactic RNFA course: Required Three years scrub and circulate experience in an acute care facility: Required Annual surgeon review: Required Licenses/Certifications: Current RN license in state of practice: Required Basic Life Support (BLS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Advanced Cardiovascular?Life Support (ACLS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR): Required Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)?certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Preferred Current Professional Liability insurance: Required Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice: Required Professional Liability Insurance (PLI): Required Facility Specific License/Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS: Required Essential Functions: Assures patients personal needs are met. Requirements:
