Scheduled Weekly Hours:

Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Clinic

Location: Main Clinic, 2nd Floor | La Crosse, WI
Potential outreach opportunities in Onalaska, WI and Winona, MN

FTE: Full-Time (1.0 fte)

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
No weekends, holidays, or call responsibilities

Position Overview

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Clinic, supporting the Orthopedic Surgery subspecialty. This day shift role offers variety, collaboration, and the opportunity to work closely with a highly experienced team in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

What You'll Do

As an RN in our Orthopedic Surgery Clinic, you will:

• Provide patient care in a busy orthopedic clinic, with a focus on pediatric patients
• Support additional orthopedic subspecialties, including trauma, hand, shoulder, and total joint services
• Perform phone triage and patient education
• Manage EPIC in-basket workflows and MyChart communications
• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative care coordination
• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative appointments
• Perform clinical procedures such as wound care and suture removal

What You'll Need

• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing
• Active RN license to work in the state of Wisconsin
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Flexibility, professionalism, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care
