Quality Engineer

up to £42,000 depending on experience
A vacancy has arisen for a QualityEngineer working within the Additive Manufacturing Group. The successful candidate will be required to provide Quality support across the full range of AM Machines and operations. Â

ResponsibilitiesÂ
Provide QualitySupport forkeyactivities including - Customer Complaints/Internal CCAR Reporting/RiskManagement activities / Manufacturing support activities Â
ProvideQualitysupport to operations team, design and purchasing teams for the resolution of quality issues reported from In field escalations and Internal Quality ConcernsfromGMSD division (Manufacturing Service Divisions)Â
Support internalDesign meetings forcurrent products engineering changesÂ
Analyse performance from Corrective Action Systems database andidentifyProductreliability issues. Provide Quality data analysis for continuous improvement activities using cooperate systemsÂ
SupportQuality Engineering functions withKey PerformanceMetrics andSupporting data,extracted fromsoftware reporting tools Â
Manage and controlCorrective Action Systemsinternally andcoordinatedesign review/ product realisationmeetings, to implement corrective / preventivesolutions Â

Key requirementsÂ
Working knowledge of BS ENISO 9001Â
3-5 years’ experience inEngineering / Manufacturingsector within a quality focused roleÂ
MinimumofHNCin Engineering discipline/ Or relevant industry experience Â
Experience inproject-controlled environments &Engineeringchange activities, including New Product IntroductionÂ
Understanding of Technical Reports / DrawingsÂ
Working knowledge of CAD platforms& Assembly BOMsÂ
Excellent communication skills Â
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages including Excel and Power BiÂ
Working knowledge of FMEA & Risk Assessment tools Â
UK Driving license as some travel to with UK will be required.Â

Knowledge ofquality tools andstatistical techniquesusedwithSix Sigma methodologiesÂ
Knowledge ofSystems/ Mechanical / Electricalengineering. Â

The successful applicant will be organised,self-motivated anddetail-oriented, withexcellent communication skills. Theywill be aconfidentteam player anda strongadvocate forquality, able tomeet strict deadlineswhile supporting others to do the same. The role also requires resilience under pressure and flexibility in working hours. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in a unique, multidisciplinary technologyenvironment. Further training and development opportunities may be provided.Â
