Job Description

Legal Core Deliverables (Across All Business Lines)

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, partnership agreements, and Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) applicable to the respective business lines.
• Provide legal advice, regulatory guidance, and risk assessments to support the development and launch of new products, services, business initiatives, and promotional or marketing campaigns.
• Advise business units on legal and regulatory requirements and identify potential legal risks and appropriate mitigation measures.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and notifications issued by relevant regulatory authorities, including data protection and PDPA requirements across all business lines.

A.          Media, Entertainment & Content

• Handle and advise on digital content licensing, TV channel distribution, sports broadcasting rights, Outsourced Business (OB), production, sponsorship, and collaboration agreements.
• Provide legal advice on digital media, broadcasting, intellectual property, and copyright matters.
• Advise on compliance with applicable rules and regulations of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC), the Digital Platform Services (DPS) law, and other relevant digital media and broadcasting regulations.
• Support business teams in assessing legal and regulatory risks relating to content distribution, digital platforms, and media-related business activities.

B.          Financial Services & Insurance

• Provide legal advice and regulatory compliance support for insurance brokerage operations and related financial services, including e-wallets, payment systems, and merchant acquiring services.
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with insurers, financial institutions, payment service providers, merchants, and other relevant business partners.
• Advise on compliance with applicable regulations and requirements issued by the Bank of Thailand (BOT), the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC), and other relevant regulatory authorities.
• Support compliance with applicable Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism and Proliferation Financing (AML/CFT) requirements and other relevant financial services regulations.

C.          E-Commerce & Digital Platforms

• Provide legal support to business units in the development and launch of products, services, and promotional activities through e-commerce platforms and electronic marketplaces.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, platform agreements, merchant agreements, and other relevant contracts.
• Review and advise on promotional campaign rules, customer-facing terms, and online marketing materials.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Direct Sales and Direct Marketing laws, Consumer Protection laws, the Digital Platform Services (DPS) law, and regulations and notifications issued by the Office of the Consumer Protection Board (OCPB) and other relevant authorities.

D.          Loyalty Programs & Value-Added Services (VAS)

• Draft, review, and negotiate partnership, merchant, and commercial agreements relating to customer loyalty programs, reward schemes, and value-added services (VAS), including arrangements with content providers and digital partners.
• Provide legal advice on the design and implementation of loyalty programs, customer benefits, rewards, and VAS offerings.
• Review advertising materials, promotional wording, Terms & Conditions, and marketing campaigns to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including requirements of the NBTC, the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA), and other relevant authorities.
• Advise on consumer protection, data protection, and other applicable legal and regulatory requirements relating to customer-facing products and services.
• Perform other legal and compliance-related duties as assigned.
