POSITION SUMMARYÂ
Peanuts Worldwide, LLCis seeking a Licensing Associate, Hardlines! Reporting to the VP, Global Hardlines, the Licensing Associate, Hardlines will be responsible for building and managing Peanuts' domestic licensing program. In this role, you will directly manage existing partners, prospect and secure new licensees in addition to working closely with other Peanuts departments to bring products to life!Â

This position will be on a Hybrid schedule with 2 days per week in the NYC office. Â

JOB RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
- Assist with management of Peanuts licensees in the following categories: Toys & Games, Gifts, Collectibles, Seasonal, Stationery, Food & Beverage, Promotions, and Gaming (mobile & console)Â Â
- Identify, pitch, and sign new licensees tied to specific revenue goals and annual growth for the overall Peanuts Worldwide domestic businessÂ
- Manage day-to-day business, including all aspects of category management: financials, contracts (new deals, amendments and renewals), category analysis, product development, strategy, and retail placementÂ
- Partner with VP, Global Hardlines to develop strategies for categories at all levels of retail and ecommerceÂ
- Update and maintain pitch decks  Â
- Oversee new contract negotiations, ensuring terms meet the company requirements and overall business objectivesÂ
- Domestic travel is requiredÂ
- Honesty, trustworthiness and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined aboveÂ

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITIONÂ
Your qualifications and experience should include: Â
- 2+ years of experience in the licensing industry working in sales and/or brand managementÂ
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Proficient in MS Office programs (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)  Â
- Experience pitching properties, securing deals, negotiating deal points and managing licensees; preferably in character or entertainmentÂ
- Proven track record of establishing strong relationships and contacts with key players across hardlines categories; retail relationships are a plusÂ
- Motivated self-starter who demonstrates strong initiative, creativity and excellent work ethicÂ
- Flexible team player with positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively across the companyÂ
- Strong organizational skills and ability to think strategically to complete tasks in a timely fashionÂ
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of administrative organizationÂ
- Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal skillsÂ
- Problem solver that acts decisively and demonstrates good judgementÂ
- Thrives in a fast paced, changing environment that necessitates working on many different projects simultaneouslyÂ
- Must be authorized to work in the US without restrictions.Â

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $60,000 to $70,000. In addition to the annual base salary, this role has an annual bonus target of 10%. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.Â
