Job Description: Risk Management Operations Support Lead

Job Type: Long-term Contract

Location: Remote

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-orientedRisk Management Operations Support Lead to oversee and optimize our risk management workflows. This role is critical in ensuring that operational risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated effectively while maintaining seamless day-to-day operations. You will act as a bridge between technical teams and senior leadership, ensuring that risk protocols align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Leadership: Lead the daily operations of the risk management team, ensuring all support tasks are executed accurately and on schedule.
Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Monitor operational processes to identify potential risks; develop and implement strategies to mitigate vulnerabilities.
Incident Management: Coordinate the response to risk-related incidents, providing root-cause analysis and post-mortem reporting.
Process Improvement: Continuous evaluation of existing risk frameworks to improve efficiency and adapt to evolving regulatory or security environments.
Stakeholder Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports for executive leadership regarding risk posture, operational health, and mitigation progress.
Compliance Oversight: Ensure all operational activities remain compliant with internal policies and external regulatory standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience in a leadership or lead-support role within Risk Management, Information Security, or Operations.
Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of risk frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 31000) and operational security protocols.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex risk data into actionable insights.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make high-pressure decisions during incident responses.
