QA / DevOps Engineer

About the role

• We are seeking a QA / DevOps Engineer to build and maintain the CI/CD, test automation, and infrastructure that keep quality high across our embedded software. You will be a force multiplier for every engineering team, from firmware bring-up to production release.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for embedded, firmware, and application software
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks (unit, integration, system, and hardware-in-the-loop)

• Manage build, artifact, and release infrastructure across heterogeneous targets

• Administer version control, code review, and branching workflows (Git / GitLab)

• Provision and maintain cloud and on-prem infrastructure (AWS) and containerized services (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Track quality metrics, coverage, and regressions; drive continuous improvement

• Support hardware-in-the-loop and factory test automation

• Champion QA best practices and release readiness across teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years in QA automation, DevOps, or software infrastructure
• Strong scripting in Python and Bash
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and code-coverage tooling
• Version control and code-review workflow expertise (Git)

Preferred Qualifications

• Embedded/firmware test automation and HIL experience 
• Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience with RTOS/Linux embedded build systems
• Observability tooling (logging, metrics, dashboards)
• Robotics or safety-critical software background
