What you'll do
- Design, implement, and optimize real-time firmware on an RTOSÂ
- Develop task scheduling, IPC, synchronization, and deterministic real-time behaviorÂ
- Implement device drivers and middleware within the RTOS environmentÂ
- Tune for latency, jitter, and CPU/memory footprintÂ
- Port and configure the RTOS for new SoCs and boardsÂ
- Debug real-time and concurrency issues (race conditions, priority inversion)Â
- Collaborate with platform, DSP, and application teamsÂ
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer ScienceÂ
- 5+ years embedded firmware development in C on RTOS-based systemsÂ
- Deep understanding of real-time scheduling, concurrency, and synchronization  Â
- Experience with at least one RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX, or QNX) and Linux kernel driver developmentÂ
- Strong debugging skills with JTAG/SWD, trace, and lab instrumentsÂ
- Understanding of microcontroller/SoC architecture (memory, interrupts, DMA)Â
Preferred Qualifications
- ARM Cortex-M/R experienceÂ
- Low-latency, high-rate sensor data pipelinesÂ
- Safety-critical or functional-safety (ISO 26262) firmware experienceÂ
- Multi-core AMP/SMP RTOS configurationsÂ
- Robotics or autonomous systems backgroundÂ
Benefits(subject to location and local regulations)
