International MBA Case Competition 2027

We're excited to continue a long-standing tradition and would be delighted to welcome you to the32nd edition of the Roland Berger International MBA Case Competition. Since its launch in 1995, the competition has brought together leading MBA programs from Europe, Asia, and the United States and has grown into one of the most prestigious events of its kind.

For the 2027 edition, we are excited to bring the competition toINSEAD Business School in Fontainebleau, just outside Paris.

The event givesfirst-year MBA students a unique opportunity to solve a real-world business challenge, showcase their strategic thinking, and present their solutions to a panel of distinguishedbusiness leaders. Throughout the competition, teams receive guidance and feedback fromexperienced Roland Berger consultants, supporting their analysis and sharpening their presentations.

In addition to the case study, the competition provides participants with multiple networking opportunities - both with fellow students from leading global MBA programs and with Roland Berger professionals from various international offices. Participants will also have the chance to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Fontainebleau and Paris, one of Europe’s most exciting cities, with traditional dinners and dedicated time for sightseeing with us!

🏆 To make things even more rewarding, the international finals in Winter 2027 will offer a monetary prize of €4,000 for the overall winning team (€1,000 per team member) and €1,000 for the runner-up team (€250 per team member)!

International teams will be selected based on theCVs of all team members and a short video application consisting of brief responses to a few questions.

The application deadline for all application components is aligned with your school's schedule.
Therefore, please refer to thedeadline stated in the official invitation to you.

1. Assemble Your Dream Team: We invite you to form adiverse team of four (4) first-year MBA students, ideally representing different nationalities and a broad mix of backgrounds, languages, and genders.
    
2. Apply Individually: Each team member must applyindividually to this event posting. Please complete all required fields, upload your CV, and provide yourteam name and Business Schoolon the second page of the application (after clicking “Next”) so we can properly allocate your application.

3. Submit Video Answers: To access the video application, please click here: Online Video Tool.
   One team member will need to register to access the platform. Your team will then be asked a set of questions and will haveone and a half minutes per question, with unlimited attempts to record each response. Please note that once a response has been submitted, it can no longer be retaken or changed.

After reviewing all applications, we willannounce the winning team from your school in the first week of November, at the latest.
