The Navigation & Sensor Systems (N&SS) organization is expanding to deliver the next generation of advanced military navigation solutions. Pilots fly the aircraft; our navigation systems chart the course and keep them on track. As an RF Design Engineer, you will contribute to the design and development of high-performance RF hardware that supports precision navigation across defense platforms. You will work closely with senior engineers and design teams to develop RF subsystems and have opportunities to take ownership of specific aspects of RF subsystem design and delivery.Â

The Role: In this role, you will:Â
Contribute to RF hardware design and analysis for Military GPS applicationsÂ
Utilize RF design and analysis tools and softwareÂ
Support engineering program activities, including data collection and analysisÂ
Assist in capturing and analyzing hardware engineering requirements in the area of RFÂ
Design, test, analyze, integrate, qualify and document hardware of low to moderate complexityÂ
Work closely with other engineering disciplines (ie mechanical, software and systems engineering) to ensure the electrical design is appropriate for the project/product design approachÂ
Work with mechanical engineers to ensure proper packaging of electronicsÂ
Participate in cross-functional team efforts in integration, pre-qualification and qualification for products and sub-systems of low to moderate complexityÂ
Conduct troubleshooting, root-cause-analysis, and technical investigations for software/hardware designsÂ
- Provide engineering assistance to production, field service, and repair personnelÂ

Required Skills and Education
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or EquivalentÂ
Must have 2+ years of experience working in Engineering or the Electronics FieldÂ
Familiar with RF Design at L-band frequenciesÂ
Demonstrated ability to apply technical expertise in RF engineering and to leverage knowledge of other related disciplinesÂ
US CitizenÂ
Must be capable of obtaining a U.S. DoW Secret security clearance Â
Preferred Skills and Education
Experience with EM/circuit simulation tools like Keysight ADS and or AWR Microwave Office Â
Circuit board design experience including experience with schematic capture tools and PCB layoutÂ
Experience with EMI/EMC testing and troubleshootingÂ
Testing of RF components (Filters, amplifiers, mixers, synthesizers, MMICs, oscillators)Â
