RETAIL FLOOR MANAGER (Underberg, KZN)

We are looking for a full-time junior manager to work approximately  45 hours a week. Applicants must be prepared to work shifts and public holidays

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.      Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail sales floor.

2.      Drive sales performance and ensure monthly and annual sales targets are achieved.

3.      Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to increase revenue.

4.      Ensure the sales floor is well presented, fully stocked, clean, and aligned with company standards.

5.      Handle customer enquiries and sales.

6.      Monitor competitor activity, pricing, promotions, and market trends.

7.      Ensure promotional campaigns and special offers are effectively implemented on the sales floor.

8.      Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail sales floor.

9.      Provide a high level of customer service and ensure customers receive a positive shopping experience.

10.  Act as the first point of escalation for customer complaints, queries, and service issues.

11.  Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.

12.  Follow up with customers regarding quotations, orders, deliveries, returns, and outstanding issues.

13.  Promote professionalism, teamwork, accountability, and excellent customer service.

14.  Address performance or conduct issues in line with company policies.

15.  Customer satisfaction and feedback.

REQUIREMENTS

1.      Grade 12

2.      Relevant qualification in Retail Management, Sales, Business Management, or a related field is advantageous.

3.      3 years' experience in retail sales, customer service, or a supervisory/management role.

4.      Strong sales and customer relationship management skills.

5.      Good knowledge of retail operations and sales processes.

6.      Computer literacy and experience with POS/retail systems.

7.      Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
