Restaurant & Bar Manager - Bonny Moon Beach Club

We are now accepting applications for the following position:

RESTAURANT & BAR MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Leads and implements the agreed upon creation of the venue’s beverage program
  and restaurant activations.
• Understands beverage control including days on hand, perpetual inventory, bar
  pars, portion control, costs controls, beverage potentials, mix of sales analysis for
  beverage, issue & returns, food standards, and month end inventory.
• Monitors adherence to all liquor control policies and procedures.
• Comprehends budgets, operating statements and payroll progress reports as
  needed to assist in the financial management of department.
• Participates in the management of department’s controllable expenses to achieve or
  exceed budgeted goals.
• Manages to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.
• Ensures compliance with all Bar/Lounge policies, standards and procedures.
• Maintains food handling and sanitation standards.
• Manages contractors to ensure upkeep and maintenance of restaurant and bar area
  including equipment.
• Ensures compliance with Health regulations (includes assurance that all appropriate
  certifications are achieved).
• Establishes relationship with supplies, vendors and with the local market.
• Manages inventories according to budget and business levels.
• Assists with developing menus and promotions as necessary.
• Determines employee training needs to accomplish goals and implements plan.
• Trains employees on liquor control policies and procedures.
• Supervises staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met.
• Ensures employees understand expectations and parameters.
• Strives to ensure guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the
  operating budget.
• Displays leadership in guest hospitality; exemplifies excellent customer service and
  creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations.

QUALIFICATION

• Minimum 3 years experience in a managerial position within a restaurant
  and bar role.
• Minimum 3 years experience working in a fast-paced bar driven environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well in environment with time constraints.
• Ability to troubleshoot effectively.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills, performing work accurately
  and efficiently.
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced team environment as well as work
  independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must enjoy working outdoors with the ability to tolerate weather extremes.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including working outside of normal business
  hours i.e. evenings, weekends and public holidays, as needed.

Salary: US$75,000 – US$90,000 per annum
