RestAssured with Java API Automation tester

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI and API automation frameworks.
• Develop automated test scripts usingJava, Selenium WebDriver, and Rest Assured.
• Perform API automation testing and validate REST services.
• Enhance and maintain existing automation frameworks.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and smoke test suites.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners in Agile environments.
• Analyze failures, debug issues, and provide root cause analysis.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
• Work independently as an SDET and contribute towards automation strategy.

Mandatory Skills

• 5–9 years of Automation Testing experience.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Java.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Rest Assured.
• Strong experience withSelenium WebDriver using Java.
• API Automation using Rest Assured.
• TestNG, Maven.
• Jenkins.
• GitLab.
• Jira.
• Strong OOP concepts.
• Experience creating or enhancing automation frameworks.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
