Respite / Recuperative Caregiver – On-Call

Harvest Healthcare Solutions is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced Caregivers / Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team in Yuba City asOn-Call Respite / Recuperative Caregivers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys picking up weekend shifts, wants flexible supplemental income, or has a schedule that allows them to provide care on an as-needed/on-call basis.

We are especially looking forRespite / Recuperative Caregivercandidates who are available for weekends and occasional short notice shifts.

What You'll Do

As aRespite / Recuperative Caregiver, you will provide supportive, person-centered care to individuals who may need assistance with daily activities, recovery, safety, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing compassionate, respectful, and individualized care
• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) as appropriate
• Supporting clients with personal care, meals, mobility, and household routines
• Providing companionship and meaningful engagement
• Monitoring client safety and reporting concerns appropriately
• Supporting individuals during recuperation or periods when their regular caregiver is unavailable
• Following individual care plans and agency policies
• Maintaining professional boundaries and client confidentiality
• Documenting services and reporting changes in condition or needs
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and the care team
• Providing support to families and caregivers when needed

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Previous experience in caregiving, direct support, personal care, home care, DSP, respite, or a related human-services role
• Dependable and responsible
• Ability to work independently while following a care plan
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to supporting others
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass required background screening and onboarding requirements

Weekend & On-Call Availability Is a PLUS!

Pay: Starting at$19.00 per hour
Schedule: Flexible; primarilyweekends and as-needed/on-call coverage
Availability: Weekend availability strongly preferred
