Required Skills/Abilities:

• Function as a team player; work flexibly and respectfully to meet the needs of residents, and those of the agency and co-workers.

• Participate in supervision and attend staff meetings as requested.
• Demonstrate good organizational skills and judgment.
• Attend and successfully complete any trainings identified by the Residential Program Management and/or Team Leader.

• Utilize computers and available technology within the NKHS system, i.e., charting assessment results, reports, progress notes, and time sheets in a timely manner as identified by the supervisor, in accordance with state, federal, and program regulations and guidelines.
• Employee performances will reflect personal policies pertaining to confidentiality, and professional ethics, as related to behavioral characteristics, cooperation, dependability, organization, judgment, courtesy to co-workers and consumers, and their circle of support.

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle insurance.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to bend to reach and maintain files.

Environmental Factors:

Duties will occur generally in an office setting but may require occasional appearances in Federal, State or other agency facilities. Duties may include work outside of regular work hours and travel may be required for which a reliable means of personal transportation must be available.
