Client is a Charlotte, NC based Design/Build Firm. We are looking for an Experienced Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager's primary role is to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Project Set-Up:
- Prepare for pre-construction meetings (reviewing plans, contracts, selections, etc)
- Develop construction schedule/calendar for each project
- Lead on-site client meetings
- Install and maintain clean job sign
Operational Excellence:
- Maintain clean, safe, and secure job sites at all times
- Manage subcontractors (scheduling and open communication)
- Communicate weekly updates with office team (updated calendars, pictures, notes)
- Assist in budget control and issuing purchase orders
- Ordering of materials
- Creating additional work orders (estimating, budgeting, issuing, payment)
- Maintain client relations by communicating weekly and being proactive
- Self-perform carpentry labor, as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently
Administrative Duties:
- Collect draws and payments specific to each project
- Complete all paperwork necessary for invoicing
- Maintain email communications
- Issue purchase orders
- Basic computer skills
Required Skills and Talents:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Neat and clean appearance (in UBG apparel)
- Vision for craftsmanship
- Understanding of design
- Negotiating and purchasing experience
- Above average carpentry skills
- Leadership qualities
- Necessary tools of the trade
- Personal truck for work use
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
