Residential Manager (8984)

Supervises and participates in performing the day-to-day activities necessary for the smooth operation of a residential program providing housing, food, and a safe environment; assists in assessing and instructing clients participating in the residential program; ensures that paperwork is completed, and all clients follow facility rules; ensures compliance with The Salvation Army policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervises and schedules shelter monitors; trains and instructs staff in the appropriate methods for performing work.
• Inspects work in progress and upon completion to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Conducts performance evaluations. 
• Monitors and enforces the behavior and residential requirements of clients.
• Supervises and monitors the access of the facility and maintains safety guidelines for clients.
• Monitors all entrances to the facility to ensure compliance with safety and city codes.

What we are looking for:

High school diploma or G.E.D.

And

two year’s experience working in a social service office environment or a similar resident or recovery program,

or

any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
