Residential Construction Superintendent -High End Brownstone Renovations

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Residential Construction Superintendent to oversee high-end renovation projects. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong background in brownstone restoration, understands the nuances of working in historic NYC properties, and can ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

- Manage all on-site construction activities from start to finish.

- Coordinate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.

-Ensure work is performed to the highest quality, in compliance with plans and codes.

- Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays or issues.

- Enforce job site safety, cleanliness, and compliance with DOB regulations.

-Conduct regular site meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.

- Problem-solve unforeseen conditions in historic buildings while maintaining design integrity.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience as a superintendent in high-end residential construction.

- Strong knowledge of brownstone renovations, structural modifications, and historic restoration.

-Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.

-Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Familiarity with NYC building codes, permits, and compliance requirements.

- Experience working in occupied residences and high-end client interactions is a plus.

-Experience with Microsoft Project for schedules, Procore a must, and 62 hours OSHA
