Residential and Commercial Project Manager

Responsibilities:

Client and Crew Coordination:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and professional communication throughout the project.
• Coordinate with painting crews to assign tasks, set expectations, and maintain timelines.

Project Oversight:

• Oversee all ongoing residential and commercial painting projects, ensuring they progress smoothly and meet quality standards.
• Conduct regular field inspections to monitor work quality and address any issues promptly.

Scheduling and Planning:

• Create and manage detailed project schedules, balancing multiple projects effectively.
• Ensure all crews and subcontractors adhere to deadlines and project plans.

Supply Management:

• Order and track supplies, ensuring materials are available on time and within budget.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and job-specific materials.

Quality Control:

• Perform final walkthroughs with clients to ensure satisfaction with completed work.
• Address any punch-list items or concerns before project completion.

Other Duties:

• Enforce safety standards and compliance on job sites.
• Provide regular progress updates to company leadership.

Requirements:

• Experience: Proven experience in project management, preferably in the painting or construction industry.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and crews.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, and priorities simultaneously.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with residential and commercial painting processes, tools, and materials.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to address and resolve project challenges effectively and efficiently.
• Physical Requirements: Comfortable conducting field inspections, including climbing ladders and assessing work areas.
• Transportation: Reliable transportation to travel between job sites.
• Technology: Proficiency with scheduling software, project management tools, and basic office applications.
