Job Description:
Provides spiritual support to patients, families and staff on assigned units through the John Muir Health system. The Chaplain Resident fulfills the ACPE accredited program requirements.Education:
Master's Degree Theological Studies - Preferred
College Level Coursework CPE - Clinical Pastoral Education - One (1) unit - Preferred
Experience:
1 year Healthcare - Spiritual Care - Preferredand/or
Healthcare - Chaplaincy - Preferred
Additional Experience Requirements:
Experience in Hospital ministry - Preferred
Certifications/Licensures:
Ordination in Recognized Faith Group - Preferredand/or
Faith Group Endorsement - Preferred
Skills:
Sensitivity to diverse religious and cultural practices and values.
Maintains professional and personal integrity.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point)
Basic Pastoral Skills.
Demonstrates empath y and compassion. Reflects theologically.

$23.00 - $23.00HourlyOffer amounts are based ondemonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
