Position DescriptionÂ
As an Analyst, Line & Price, you will help develop the Nielsen Innovation Practice business by executing marketing research studies for our clients. You will be responsible for compiling, analyzing and interpreting marketing research data, writing client reports and constructing client presentations with a high degree of independence. You will generate highly polished analyses, summarizing conclusions and recommendations in a precise, client friendly manner. You will support the Line & Price team in driving revenue by delivering excellent project work that will result in repeat business with our clients.  Â
While we seek candidates with proven analytical skills, we provide extensive training to give our Analysts the subject matter expertise to function effectively in our business. This includes training regarding choice-based research methods, designing and analyzing market research, and delivering high impact consultative presentations to our clients.Â
ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Project Execution & Management (85%)Â
- Ownership of end-to-end execution (creation through finalization of inputs and deliverables)Â
- Knows L&P study processes and initiates steps without promptingÂ
- Independently and correctly utilizes BASES L&P ToolsÂ
- Ensures internal and external deadlines are metÂ
- Collaborates effectively with Ops team members, Statisticians, etcÂ
- Identifies questions/issues and proactively seeks solutionsÂ
- Effectively uses resourcesÂ

- Client Management / ConsultingÂ
- Writes consultative report drafts using study data and client objectivesÂ
- Attends client meetings and presentations, providing appropriate support materialsÂ
- Is able to give simple presentations internallyÂ
- Develops understanding of connection between scoping, study designs, and client needsÂ

- Develops foundational understanding of the L&P services, methodology, and underlining theoriesÂ
