Summary:
The Reporting & Planning Contractor, Resource-Led Planning CoE will provide six months of dedicated support for critical workforce planning reporting, forecasting, planning-system and data-governance activities. A central focus of the assignment will be Oracle EPM workforce planning production support, planning-cycle readiness, issue resolution, testing and enhancement delivery. The role will also maintain continuity across recurring planning cycles while progressing priority improvements to the Workforce Planning Hub, reporting standards and analytical decision support.
This role requires a hands-on finance professional with experience supporting enterprise planning systems such as Oracle EPM, Hyperion Planning or a comparable platform. The contractor will work independently across reporting, systems, data and business processes and partner with Finance, Workforce Planning, People Team, Finance Systems, Technology, BI and Analytics teams to resolve production issues, translate business requirements into system enhancements, maintain governed definitions and reporting content, and deliver clear analysis on headcount movements, forecast drivers, risks and opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Workforce Planning Hub Management and Reporting Roadmap: Maintain and enhance the Workforce Planning Hub as a governed entry point for workforce planning reports, definitions, guidance and supporting resources. Manage the enhancement backlog and intake process, coordinate report additions and updates, validate links and access, maintain user and report inventories, monitor adoption and feedback, and advance the reporting roadmap based on prioritized Finance needs.
  • Workforce Reporting and Analytics: Prepare, validate and improve standardized headcount, workforce movement, vacancy, hiring, attrition and workforce-cost reporting. Reconcile differences across reporting sources and planning cutoffs, clarify report purpose and source-of-truth treatment, and develop concise insights on actuals, plan, forecast, trends, variances, risks and opportunities for Finance stakeholders.
  • Oracle EPM Production Support and Forecasting: Provide business production support for Oracle EPM workforce forecasting during monthly close, Outlook and planning cycles. Investigate forecast and reporting issues, validate PID-level headcount and cost calculations, support data loads and reconciliations, document root causes and workarounds, coordinate issue resolution with Finance Systems and Technology teams, and support user testing and deployment of enhancements.
  • Data Definitions and Reporting Governance: Maintain and govern workforce planning definitions, metric logic, report descriptions, refresh schedules, ownership, access requirements and usage guidance. Coordinate Finance and People Team alignment on definitions and appropriate reporting sources, document decisions and exceptions, and ensure updates are reflected consistently across the Hub, playbooks, communications and training materials.
  • Workforce Data Integrity and Controls: Analyze workforce data issues affecting forecasting and reporting, including PID status, start and vacate dates, hiring status, organizational and cost-center alignment, supported market, job and location attributes, contractor data and other workforce metadata. Support preventive controls, exception tracking, issue intake, recurring monitoring and sustainable remediation with accountable partners.
  • Forecasting Methodology and Planning Analytics: Support development and standardization of headcount forecasting assumptions and methodologies, including hiring ramp, vacancy and attrition treatment. Analyze headcount changes across actuals and forecast scenarios, distinguish operational movements from planning assumptions, and support transparent, comparable workforce forecasts across teams.
  • Planning Transformation and Automation: Identify opportunities to reduce manual reconciliation and automate workforce planning reporting, controls and analytical workflows. Support self-service analytics, scenario-planning capabilities and governed AI-enabled solutions that improve productivity and decision support while retaining appropriate review and accountability.
  • Stakeholder Coordination, Communications and Enablement: Coordinate recurring working sessions and follow-ups with cross-functional partners, prepare status updates and recommendations, maintain process and training documentation, and support communications and enablement for Finance users. Manage multiple deliverables and dependencies, escalate issues with clear business impact, and ensure knowledge and open items are documented for transition at the end of the assignment.
