Job description:

Job Title: BCBA – Fully Remote

Company: Guidepost ABA

Location: Remote (Texas)

Job Type: Part-time to full-time

Schedule: Flexible

Job Description

Guidepost ABA is hiring a BCBA or BCaBA for a fully remote position. This role includes assessments, treatment planning, RBT supervision, and parent training. We’re looking for a clinician who is organized, ethical, and confident delivering high-quality ABA services through telehealth and remote supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Complete behavioral assessments and reassessments
  • Develop and update treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Provide remote supervision and clinical oversight of RBTs/BTs
  • Conduct parent/caregiver training (English and Spanish)
  • Review data and adjust programming based on progress
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation (notes, progress reports, plan updates)
  • Collaborate with families and team members to ensure quality care and consistency
  • Follow BACB ethics, payer requirements, and company policies

Requirements

  • BCBA certification in good standing
  • Active Texas LBA
  • Experience supervising RBTs/BTs
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Ability to pass background checks and meet credentialing requirements

Why Work With Us

  • Neuro-affirming clinical model β€” treatment planning centers assent-based practices, client dignity, and socially significant outcomes rather than compliance-driven goals
  • Ethical integrity, guaranteed β€” you will never be asked to implement procedures that conflict with your clinical judgment or the BACB Ethics Code, inflate billable hours, or compromise on medical necessity.
  • Structured clinical support β€” manageable caseloads with realistic supervision ratios, direct access to clinical leadership, and administrative and credentialing functions handled centrally
  • Schedule autonomy β€” caseload and session scheduling built collaboratively around your availability
  • Low-bureaucracy environment β€” a small practice structure means rapid clinical decision-making and direct communication with leadership
  • Opportunity to shape clinical infrastructure β€” early team members contribute to program standards, supervision models, and organizational culture
  • In-home and school-based service delivery across Texas

Who's a Good Fit

  • You prioritize therapeutic rapport β€” you understand pairing and relationship-building as foundational to effective intervention, not preliminary to it
  • You practice family-centered care β€” you approach caregiver training and collaboration as core clinical competencies, communicating with empathy and cultural responsiveness
  • You implement assent-based, trauma-informed intervention β€” you attend to client assent and assent withdrawal, individualize accordingly, and prioritize quality-of-life outcomes
  • You supervise with intention β€” you provide RBTs with behavior-skills training, constructive performance feedback, and mentorship that builds clinical competence and retention
  • You value interdisciplinary collaboration β€” you take feedback well, consult when appropriate, and coordinate effectively with schools, caregivers, and other providers
  • You maintain rigorous clinical standards β€” you develop function-based programming, make data-based decisions, and adhere to the BACB Ethics Code; you hold high clinical standards β€” warmth doesn't mean loose; you write strong programs, track data carefully, and take ethics seriously
