  • Provide technical support across HV/LV systems, motors, drives, protection and control
  • Provide electrical engineering input into projects, design reviews, commissioning and major repairs
  • Support electrical safety, compliance and continuous improvement across the Smelter

  • Practical knowledge of HV/LV systems, motors, drives, protection, control and instrumentation.
  • Experience in reliability engineering, root cause analysis, FMEA and defect elimination.
  • Strong commitment to electrical safety, risk management and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across operations, maintenance and engineering teams.
  • Eligibility for Engineers Australia membership and professional engineering registration in Victoria, where required.
  • High-voltage switching experience or a willingness to progress through site training and authorisation requirements.
