Registered Psychotherapist/ Clinical Counsellor (Virtual Role)

LifestyleRx is seeking passionate Registered Psychotherapists or Clinical Counsellors who are dedicated to helping patients achieve better health outcomes through evidence-based lifestyle medicine.

As part of our interdisciplinary care team, you will play a key role in supporting patients through the behavioural and emotional changes necessary to improve their metabolic health. This is a virtual, part-time position with flexible scheduling with a minimum requirement of 10 hours per week.

What You’ll Do

·Provide 1:1 virtual counselling to patients enrolled in our 12-week Lifestyle Medicine program

·Support patients in navigating behaviour change, emotional eating, stress, motivation, and other Psychological aspects of mental health and health improvement.

·Develop and deliver care plans to help patients improve sleep and stress resilience

·Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, dietitians, and physiotherapists

·Participate in training to become confident in delivering care using our lifestyle medicine framework

What We’re Looking For

·Registered to practice in BC, AB or ON

·Training and/or experience in behavioural change, CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, and lifestyle medicine

·Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·Comfortable with technology and delivering care in a virtual environment

·Able to work independently and within a collaborative team setting
