Addiction Recovery Center Department Overview

The Addiction Recovery Center is a 20-bed inpatient substance use treatment unit that provides care for individuals recovering from addiction, often with co-occurring behavioral health conditions. Patients typically stay approximately 35 days and participate in therapy, educational programming, and recovery-focused treatment.

Nurses play a key role in admissions, medication administration, lab draws, withdrawal monitoring, and ongoing patient support. The unit averages one to two admissions per day and allows nurses the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients throughout their recovery journey.

The department is staffed 24/7 with registered nurses and behavioral health technicians, supported by therapists, case managers, and leadership. The team is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care while helping reduce the stigma associated with addiction.

Behavioral health or addiction treatment experience is beneficial, but nurses new to the specialty with strong assessment skills, empathy, flexibility, and a passion for helping others are encouraged to apply. The Addiction Recovery Center offers a rewarding environment where staff can make a lasting impact on patients' lives and recovery success.
