Regional Quotation and Dimensioning Manager / PSD

The Regional Quotation Specialist is responsible for providing professional project support, system design, dimensioning, and quotation preparation for VRF Bosch and Hitachi projects across the SEE region (Hungary, Croatia, Romania, Serbia, Bulgaria). The role serves as a centralized technical and commercial support function, ensuring fast, accurate, and competitive quotations.

In addition, the position acts as a regional technical expert, supporting sales, after-sales, training teams, customers and designers throughout the project lifecycle, with a strong focus on design-stage consulting, application engineering, and solution development.

Your tasks:

Quotation & Design

• Analyze project requirements and prepare technical and commercial quotations.
• Perform system sizing, equipment selection, and configuration using design and selection tools.
• Develop technical documentation, layouts, and project drawings.

Technical Support

• Provide regional technical support to sales, after-sales, and training teams.
• Support designers and customers during project design stages.
• Deliver support in English and facilitate multilingual communication using AI-assisted tools.

Training

• Offer technical support to stakeholders within the area of responsibility, addressing queries and ensuring satisfaction.
• Conducts customer and designer visits to establish strong relationships and deliver know-how.

Solution Development

• Develop cost-effective and competitive VRF system solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of regional quotation and design processes.
• Analyze competitor offerings, project requirements, and customer trends.
• Provide recommendations to improve technical solutions and market competitiveness.

Reporting

• Monitor and report project pipeline, quotation activities, response times, and key performance indicators

• Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related technical field.
• Experience and Know-how:  Experience with VRF/HVAC system design and quotation preparation. Knowledge of VRF selection software, BIM tools, CAD software
• Working style: structured and analytical
• Personality: Strong customer focus, analytical and negotiation skills, self-driven, self-organised and proactive, you understand and feel comfortable to work with foreign cultures
• Languages: English, further Eastern European languages (i.e. Romanian, Hungarian, etc.) an advantage
