Job Purpose:
- The Regional Patient Access Manager at Brazos Valley Community Action Agency Inc is responsible for overseeing and optimizing patient access operations across multiple locations within the region. This role aims to improve patient experience, streamline processes, and ensure efficient service delivery while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient access services, ensuring timely and effective scheduling, registration, and communication processes.
- Lead and manage a team of patient access staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure high-quality service and productivity.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, administrative staff, and other stakeholders to identify and address barriers to patient access, improving overall service delivery.
- Monitor and analyze patient access metrics and data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures, maintaining the highest standards of patient confidentiality and data security.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, healthcare providers, and administrative teams, addressing concerns and facilitating effective communication.
- Develop and implement patient access policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Manage budgetary and resource allocation for patient access operations, optimizing the use of resources to achieve strategic objectives.
- Participate in regional and organizational meetings, contributing to the development of initiatives and strategies that enhance patient access and overall healthcare delivery.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in patient access management or healthcare administration.
- Proven track record of managing regional healthcare operations and improving patient access services.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans for patient access and service delivery.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide regional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with healthcare professionals, patients, and stakeholders.
