DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Checkingthe installation & Commissioning of the New installedLV ABB Drives (ACS880, ACS580,ACS800, (ACS800,ACS550,ACSM1, DCS500,ACS350, (ACS1000, ACS2000,ACS5000,ACS6000, ACS680, ACS8080, ACS580 MV, ACS800, ACS550, ACSM1,DCS500,ACS350…etc.),for the ongoing industrial projects  area and reporting the com-missioningWorks to the Customer, ABB installed base and  service manager.

2. Servicing the Faulty ABB medium Voltage and  Low Drives
(ACS1000,  ACS2000,ACS5000,ACS6000, ACS680, ACS8080, ACS580            MV,ACS800,ACS800, ACS550, ACSM1,DCS500,ACS350…etc.),Ordering&replacingthefaulty parts(boards ,IGBTS,Thyristors….etc.)andreporting the warrantyCases to the manufacturer.

3. performing the preventive maintenance ofDifferenttypes ofABB Drives (ACS1000,ACS2000, ACS6000,ACS500,ACS880,ACS800,ACS550 …etc.) and MV Drives

4. Sizing,SelectingtheLV & MVABBdrivesaswellastheiroptions ( S/W )based onCustomer’smachineandinstallationrequirements&Configuringthembased  on   Customerapplication  and Controlscheme Using  ABB software (Drivewindow, Drivewindow light, Drive studio Drive Size).

5.Reporting the customer satisfactionlevel, claims,recommendationandtechnicalissuesregardingABB drivestotheBUmanagement.Contribute EffectivelyinpromotingtheABB product and boosting thesales ofABB drives .

6. EngineeringtheSystemInterfacefortheDrivesUpgradeandRetrofitting  Projects aswellasfor  the  NewinstalledDrives Project .

7. Ability to Do RootCauseanalysis for Customer Failure

8.Testing ,Commissioning andTroubleshootingthe MediumVoltage Variable frequencyDrives ,( Experienced, Certified onABB Product (Medium VoltageVariable frequency Drives,ACS6000,ACS1000,ACS2000,ACS5000, ACS580 MV,ACS6080).

9. AbilitytoWork under pressure and to ability toTravelto and work in Remote sites for long time.

10. Certified as per ABB Motion Upskills on Products (ACS1000,ACS2000,ACS5000, ACS6000, ACS6080,ACS580 MV).

11. Expert inACS500PLC Troubleshooting.

12.Employee shall also carryout anytasks that are assigned bymanagement necessaryto fulfil thejob requirements.

Qualifications for the Role

• BCs or Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
• with 5 to 10 years experience in installation, Testing, Commissioning and Servicing of LV and MV Drives
• Fluent in English is required.
