Customer & Sales Support Specialist

Refractory Service, Inc.(RSI) is seeking an organized, customer-focusedCustomer & Sales Support Specialist to connect customers, field sales, and plant operations. You’ll help keep quotes, orders, schedules, and deliveries accurate and on track.

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate customer requirements, priorities, schedules, and delivery commitments across sales, production, and shipping.

• Prepare accurate material quotes, review purchase orders, enter orders, and issue acknowledgements.
• Monitor order progress and communicate timely updates to customers and sales representatives.
• Resolve routine order and delivery issues while maintaining organized electronic records.
• Support Salesforce data entry, account administration, reporting, correspondence, and follow-up.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.

• Two or more years of customer service, sales support, order management, or related administrative experience.
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
• Salesforce, CRM, ERP, or manufacturing-system experience is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate across departments, and manage changing priorities.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Office-based work with regular interaction with shop and plant employees.

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, use standard office equipment, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
