ISMIRA Agency actively recruiting for CULINARY POSITIONS for CRYSTAL CRUISES!

    OPEN POSITIONS:

• Chef de Cuisine, Main Galley (similar to an Exec. Sous Chef position)
• Sr. Sous Chef, Main Galley 
• Sous Chef Tournant 

   WORK CONDITIONS:

• Work in top level, 5* cruise company, luxury segment
  
• Vaccination Covid-19 mandatory with WHO approved vaccines
  
• Medical insurance provided during contract
• Flight paid to ship and to a home address after completed contract
• Free food and accommodation
• Free uniform
• Joining expenses: reimbursed upon completion of first contract.
• STCW: reimbursed upon commencement of second contract.
• Contract length 4-5 months with following 2 months of vacation.

    REQUIREMENTS:

• Culinary Institute Diploma/Chef Certification or other relevant apprenticeship required.
• Previous shipboard experience is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a luxury International property.
• Must have experience in a large luxury food operation – luxury cruise ship industry experience preferred. 
• Must have a very strong, balanced background in the culinary field and a sound knowledge of culinary arts and fine dining is essential. 
• Understands all aspects of the kitchen including bakery, pastry, butchery and fish preparation area, hot and cold kitchen, as well as the managerial aspects of these operations. 
• Highly motivated with a strong drive and high level of energy and flexibility. 
• Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must have very good administrative skills (proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel). 
• Must have excellent organizational skills and show attention to detail. 
• Must possess excellent leadership skills and the ability to interact with all levels of people. 
• Must be able to communicate and implement corrective action steps in an effective, yet diplomatic fashion.
• Must be able to remain calm under pressure. 
• Needs to have an outgoing personality and has to possess a positive attitude, maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor while remaining firm at all times.
• Vaccination Covid-19 mandatory with WHO approved vaccines
• Minimum 21 years old.
