 CORE JOB FUNCTIONS

• Ensures accurate performance of EEG tests as requested by physicians.
• Manages and reviews patient records and interviews patients to obtain additional information.
• Prepares patients for procedure by attaching monitoring devices and explaining test procedures.
• Sets up and calibrates necessary equipment.
• Oversees patients during testing, monitoring patients’ status and recording observations.
• Analyzes test data to ensure appropriate data is collected.
• Reports test results to physicians for further analysis.
• Supervises the maintenance of laboratory equipment, ensures work area is clean, and institutes quality control procedures.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and performs minor repairs.
• Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
