Job Overview

The Intake Specialist I will coordinatethe enrollment process of potential PACE participants, requires a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the healthcare industry. The Intake Specialist I will work withthe Enrollment Development Specialists (EDSs)toassistinincreasingthe PACEprogram membershipbyeffectively enrolling potential participantsandsupportingretentionefforts. The Intake Specialist willberesponsiblefor discussing, upselling, and explaining the overall services provided by the PACE Program. They will be housed at the AltaMed PACE site they support and will act as the bridge betweenthe Marketing and Operations teams.TheIntake SpecialistIisresponsibleformanaging participants’ enrolments;theywillbethecentral point personand will workinconjunctionwithotherPACEcross-functional departmentstoensure participantsareenrolled promptly.This roledemandstoworkinafast-pacedand teamenvironment,incollaborationwithinternalandexternal AltaMed operations teams.TheIntake SpecialistIwillutilizetheCustomer Relationship Management System(CRM)totrack andmonitorallleads and willberesponsiblefor dailystatus reportsonmarketing effortsandparticipant enrollment progress. Other responsibilities include assistingwithidentifyingnewreferral sources, conducting outreach activities,andgenerating enrollmentleadsthrough internal promotion activities.TheIntake Specialistmustensure consistent compliancewithallstate,federal,andcompany-specificrequirements.

 Minimum Requirements

• Associate's degree in healthcare, Business Administration, or a related nursing field of study, or a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the healthcare industry.

• Current valid BLS certification required.

• Minimumone-year experience working with the elderly and their families, preferably in a healthcare or community agency setting required.

• Marketing/Sales experience preferred.

• Bilingual Cantonese/Mandarin/Vietnamese/English or Spanish/English required.
