The Lead Content Analyst is responsible for sourcing, validating, and maintaining commodities data from multiple sources. The role proactively monitors data quality, investigates anomalies, and raises suspected data issues to ensure accurate and timely content delivery. The analyst will work across the LSEG Workspace and DataScope product suites, as well as real-time data and time-series data. A good understanding of Commodities spot and derivatives markets is essential. The role requires strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and project management teams. Candidates must be willing to work rotational shifts, including night shifts, and provide weekend coverage when required.
Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Responsible for producing new content & signing off daily production task sheets and handovers between shifts.
Ensure the key MOWs of the process are up to date.
Working closely with Business Analyst and Product Management and other work-related groups.
Resolving client queries for the Team. Training and Mentoring Junior member to resolve queries, build stakeholder relationship.
Contract creation on Products for Data Updates.
Historical data Maintenance, addition of data and checks required for validation on database.
Manage Content related incidents, recovery and represent on IRT, ICC calls for the content.
Responsible for making development out of coverage On-Call decisions and Escalations.
Work with team leaders and other senior members to achieve gaps in skills metrics.
Achieve and help maintain targets as the per the quality metrics for process improvement.
Deliver on innovation & automations targets by supporting process excellence on content quality improvements.
This role requires the analysts to work on all shifts (including night shifts) and be flexible for weekend work (if required), which is mandatory.
Required Skills:
- Working knowledge of commodities markets and related content is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good understanding of financial markets, with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
Additional Information:
- Required to work monthly rotational shifts, including night shifts.
- Hybrid work arrangement: three days on-site and two days working from home.
- Prior experience in stakeholder management and business engagement is preferred.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in automation, with working knowledge of VBA macros and Python, is preferred.
