Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist(CRNA)–MainCampusOpportunity 

 

TheUniversity of Kansas Health System, Department of Anesthesiology, is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for busy academic medicalcenter. Both newly trained and experienced CRNAs are welcome to apply. Enjoyafriendly and collaborative culture with mentorship for new graduates,teamwork,and a positive work environment.   

 

Offering anew graduate stipend of up to $25,000 to SRNAs with early commitment, and a $20,000 signing bonus to experienced CRNAs. Shadowing opportunities areavailable. 

 

Successful completion of nursing anesthesia program,certification, and eligibilityfor licensure in the State of Kansas arerequired.

  • CRNAs are integrated members of the anesthesia care teamcomprised of more than 120 CRNAs, 65 anesthesiologists,residents and anesthesia technicians 

  • Broad caseload in multiple surgical specialties - transplant, trauma, ortho, ENT, neurosurgery,OB and hearts;sub-specialtyinterests welcome 

  • CRNAs perform a full range of procedures 

  • Flexible scheduling available for full and part-time positions, with set day off 

  • 8, 10, 12-hour shifts with12-20scheduledshifts per month 

  • Ability to move between OR settings, including ASCs 

  • Established night-team provides majority of call coverage 

  • Additional compensation for call; averaging ~12/year, with pre andpost call day off
