Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse

PRN Hospice

Columbus, Ohio

PURPOSE

According to prescribed policies and procedures of the organization including all applicable federal, state and accreditation regulations and reporting to the Clinical Leader, the Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care services and case management to clients and families by implementing nursing interventions set forth by the plan of care

Qualified candidates for this position offer:

• An Ohio Nursing Licensure in good standing

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

• 1-2 years nursing experience preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Supervise, provide and direct nursing care in compliance with facility policies and procedures.
2. Supervision - Assigns nursing assistants and ensures the efficient completion of their assignments.
3. Communicates professionally and effectively
4. Documents resident information timely, accurately and confidentially
5. Adheres to the guidelines as outlined in the Resident Rights documentation.
6. Adheres to all policies and procedures as outlined under the Safety & Compliance policies and procedures
