About the roleÂ
The Senior Systems Specialist – Manufacturing Execution Systemsis responsible for supporting and advancing Cochlear's MES capability by working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality,Logistics and IT/OT teams to deliver practical,scalable and compliant system solutions.Â
You will lead and coordinate MES implementation activities, support manufacturing system enhancements,maintain system integrity and ensure users have the tools, training and supportrequired tooperate effectively.Â
This is a highly collaborative role that combines technicalexpertise, stakeholder engagement, changemanagement and continuous improvement to help drive manufacturing performance and digital transformation initiatives across CochlearÂ

Whatyou’ll doÂ
Manufacturing Execution Systems LeadershipÂ
- Support the implementation,configuration and optimisation of Manufacturing Execution Systems across manufacturing operations.Â
- Maintain system performance, master dataintegrity and operational effectiveness.Â
- Ensure MES solutions support manufacturing workflows, compliancerequirements and businessobjectives.Â
- Coordinate system upgrades,enhancements and deployment activities. Â
Manufacturing Operations SupportÂ
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality and Logistics teams to understand operational requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.Â
- Support manufacturing process improvements through improved system capability and operational visibility.Â
- Maintain manufacturing data structures, workflows, routings, equipmentrecords and system configurations.Â
- Drive improvements that enhance manufacturing efficiency,quality and traceability. Â
Implementation, Validation & Continuous ImprovementÂ
- Lead or coordinate MES testing,validation and deployment activities.Â
- Troubleshoot issues,identify rootcauses and implement sustainable solutions.Â
- Support system performance monitoring and ongoing optimisation initiatives.Â
- Drive continuous improvement activities that enhance system reliability and user experience. Â
Change Management & User AdoptionÂ
- Develop and deliver user training,communication and adoption activities.Â
- Support stakeholders through system changes and new process implementation.Â
- Build strong user engagement and confidence in MES capabilities.Â
- Champion effective change management practices that support successful business outcomes. Â
Quality & ComplianceÂ
- Ensure MES activities support manufacturing quality requirements, traceabilitystandards and regulatory expectations.Â
- Maintain documentation, validationrecords and audit readiness.Â
- Support compliance with quality systems and regulated manufacturing requirements.Â
- Participate in continuous improvement of manufacturing and quality processesÂ

You Will BringÂ
- Experience implementing,supporting or optimising Manufacturing Execution Systems within a manufacturing environment. Â
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, productionworkflows and manufacturing data management. Â
- Experiencemaintaining master data, process structures, workflows, BOMs and operational system configurations. Â
- Experience supporting system testing, validation,troubleshooting and continuous improvement activities. Â
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and operational teams. Â
- Experience coordinating projects, managingpriorities and delivering outcomes in a structured environment. Â
- A continuous improvement mindset and a practical approach to problem-solving. Â
- Strong understanding of quality,compliance and traceability requirements within manufacturing operations.Â

What will help you stand outÂ
You'll stand out if you have experience working within medical device,electronics or other highly regulated manufacturing environments. Experience implementing or supporting digital manufacturing transformation programs, MES platforms, industrial automationtechnologies or manufacturing system integrations will be highly regarded. Exposure to manufacturing validation, audit readiness, qualitysystems and change management activities will further strengthen yourapplication.. Â
