Recruitment Operational and Technical Strategist

Location: Raleigh, NC

Duration: 6+ months (Remote)

Seeking for a candidate to provide technical and operational support across key Human Resources functions. This role will enhance communication between senior leadership and HR teams, support centralization initiatives, and ensure compliant use of systems like Workday, Smartsheet, SharePoint, and MS Teams. The strategist will improve SOPs, manage recruitment workflows, and guide system reporting improvements to support organizational goals.

Skillset:

• Experience developing and managing HR Standard Operating Procedures.
• Strong expertise with Workday Human Capital Management.
• Proficiency with Smartsheet and SharePoint.
• Ability to support Talent Acquisition teams and manage recruitment activities.
• Experience with state HR systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Strong reporting skills and the ability to advise leaders on data usage.
• Capability to redesign HR internal communication systems.
• Project management experience, including milestone planning and stakeholder alignment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Must Have:

• Demonstrated experience with Workday HCM - 5 Years
• Comprehensive understanding of HR practices and compliance regulations - 5 Years
• Ten years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition - 10 Years
• Public Sector Experience - Desired - 5 Years
• Understanding of the state's organization management and culture - 5 Years
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams - 5 Years
• Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and identify solutions - 5 Years
