SUMMARY OF POSITION 

The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, identify, and hire top talent. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR to understand workforce needs, develop sourcing strategies, and deliver a positive and seamless candidate experience. The Recruiter ensures compliance with company policies and employment laws while promoting the organization as an employer of choice. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates. 

• Leverages online recruiting resources and in-house employees to identify and recruit the very best candidates.  

• Creates and updates job descriptions in collaboration with hiring managers to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational needs. 

• Reviews resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements. 

• Prescreens candidates. Creates and presents prescreening questions to hiring managers for collaboration and approval. 

• Conducts phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications, interest level, and cultural fit before advancing them in the process. 

• Prepares candidates for interviews by providing information about the role, interview process, and expectations. 

• Manages and coordinates all communication with candidates. 

• Interviews all candidates presented for detailed interviewing by hiring managers, and includes the use of face-to-face behavioral-based interviewing methodologies.  

• Organizes, leads, and documents post-interview feedback with interview teams and candidates.  

• Performs detailed reference checking and/or reference. 

• Extends offer of employment to selected candidates under the direction of the hiring managers and within the guidelines of Wonderful Pistachios and Almonds' compensation policy.  

• Manages the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing, and administrative components involved in full lifecycle recruiting. 

• Conducts follow-up calls and quality checks with hiring managers and new hires to ensure satisfaction with the recruitment process. 

• Maintains accurate and legally compliant documentation on candidates, searches, and recruiting activities in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations. 

• Uses effective communication approaches that include proactively keeping others informed, appropriately expressing ideas and thoughts verbally and in written form, and timeliness. 

• Works cooperatively with all members of the recruitment team to develop and implement recruitment plans and activities.  

• Visits all hiring-manager departments to develop a thorough understanding of the department culture and uses that understanding to help candidates fully understand the opportunity.  

• Perform other duties as assigned. 

SKILL REQUIREMENTS 

Language skills 

• Excellent project management, writing, and oral communication skills are required.  

• Ability to present new recruiting concepts and strategies to leadership and technical communities. 

Mathematical skills 

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, along with computing ratios, and percentages.   

Reasoning ability 

• Must be able to manage competing demands, accept criticism and constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible. 

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.  

• Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills. 

Computer skills 

• The utilization of computer software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)  

• Knowledge and extensive past use of a server-based applicant tracking system, preferably data base management. 

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE  

• B.S. in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related discipline required. 

• 2- 3 years’ experience in full lifecycle recruiting.  

• Willingness and ability to travel 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

FUNCTIONAL 

• Ability to develop a variety of reports from various data sources.

• Observe all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) as specified by the Company’s food safety policy. 

• Consistently demonstrate safe work behaviors and actively support Company’s safety goals. 

• Support policies and procedures established by the Company. 

• Perform any additional assignments as directed by supervisor. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT   

• The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. 

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. 

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee will occasionally be exposed to mechanical parts and condensed work areas.  

• The employee will also on occasion be on the production floor where he/she may be exposed to: dust particles and high dust levels, extreme heat, noise levels that are loud. (Safety protection will be provided) 

• The employee may spend 50% or more of their weekly work hours on the plant floor. 

Pay Range: $73,000.00- $80,000.00
