TheSAP Lead Developer (BTP, S/4HANA, R/3, Fiori, AI) will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable SAP solutions that support complex business processes across the organization.

This role combineshands-on SAP development, technical leadership, and solution architecture. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions acrossSAP BTP, S/4HANA, SAP R/3, and SAP Fiori, including AI-enabled applications and integrations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead thedesign, development, and implementation of SAP applications and technical solutions across SAP BTP, S/4HANA, R/3, and Fiori.
• Translate business requirements and process needs intoscalable and maintainable technical designs.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams throughsolution guidance, code reviews, mentoring, and development standards.
• Design and implement integrations betweenSAP and non-SAP systems using APIs, OData, REST services, event-driven architecture, and integration platforms.
• Drive the modernization and optimization of existing SAP applications, including legacy solutions where applicable.
• Ensure solutions meet requirements forperformance, security, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and other technical teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Contribute toSAP architecture, technology roadmap, engineering standards, and development best practices.
• Explore and implementAI-enabled capabilities where they can improve business processes, user experience, or operational efficiency.

• At least5–10 years of relevant experience in SAP software development, solution design, or enterprise application development.
• Strong experience inSAP software development and solution architecture, ideally acrossSAP BTP, S/4HANA, SAP R/3, and SAP Fiori environments.
• Strong understanding ofbusiness process analysis, process mapping, and optimization, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Advanced programming skills in one or more technologies such asABAP, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, SAPUI5, and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience withSAP BTP services, S/4HANA technologies, Fiori/SAPUI5 applications, and SAP integration technologies.
• Solid experience in integratingSAP and non-SAP systems usingAPIs, OData, REST, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience withAI/ML integration or AI-enabled enterprise applications is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in providingtechnical leadership, including solution design, architecture guidance, code reviews, defining technical standards, and mentoring developers.
• Familiarity with modern software engineering practices, includingDevOps, CI/CD, Git/version control, automated deployment, testing, and secure coding practices.
• Stronganalytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
• Excellentcommunication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree inComputer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant SAP certifications, particularly inSAP BTP and/or S/4HANA, are considered an advantage.Experience working inlarge-scale enterprise, global, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
