Job Description:
As a Receptionist, you will play an essential role in creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient office environment at R1's Murray, Utah location. Serving as a primary point of contact for employees, visitors, and onsite business partners, you will support daily workplace operations, coordinate office services, and help ensure the facility runs smoothly.

This is a hands-on, service-oriented position that requires someone who takes initiative, enjoys helping others, and can confidently navigate a dynamic workplace environment. The ideal candidate brings a hospitality mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to recognize and address needs without constant direction. Unlike a traditional administrative assistant role, this position focuses on supporting the overall workplace experience rather than providing dedicated administrative support to an individual or executive.

What You'll Do
• Create a welcoming and professional environment by greeting visitors, assisting employees, responding to workplace inquiries, and providing exceptional service.
• Support day-to-day workplace activities, including maintaining organized common areas, monitoring office supplies, and ensuring shared resources are readily available.
• Receive, sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
• Assist with onsite meetings and workplace gatherings, including conference room preparation, catering deliveries, breakfast setup, and other logistical needs.
• Utilize Microsoft Outlook to manage calendars, monitor multiple email inboxes, coordinate communications, and assist with routine administrative requests.
• Serve as a point of contact for routine office service requests and coordinate with facilities or service providers as needed.
• Identify opportunities to assist employees, improve office organization, and complete necessary tasks during quieter periods.
• Navigate a variety of personalities and workplace situations with professionalism, sound judgment, and the confidence to establish appropriate boundaries.
• Follow established workplace procedures, safety guidelines, and office protocols.

Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, including calendar management, email organization, and managing multiple inboxes.
• General familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a welcoming and hospitality-focused approach.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Self-motivated and resourceful, with the initiative to identify tasks and remain productive with minimal supervision.
• Adaptability to changing workloads, priorities, and workplace needs.
• Professional demeanor, sound judgment, and confidence handling challenging interactions.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in Murray, Utah.

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience in reception, workplace services, hospitality, administrative support, or office coordination.
• Experience supporting a corporate office environment, including meeting logistics, mail distribution, or office supply management.
• Familiarity with coordinating routine facilities requests or interacting with workplace service providers.

Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the office during the workday.
• Ability to retrieve and distribute mail, supplies, and office materials.
• Ability to lift and move office supplies and packages within the position's established physical requirements, with reasonable accommodation as applicable.

Corporate Core Values
Partner with Purpose - Build trusted partnerships through collaboration, transparency, and inclusion.
Think Boldly - Create opportunities to innovate and grow in support of the company mission.
