About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join the Real Estate practice in Vancouver. In this role, you will provide essential support to lawyers handling complex real estate transactions, from file inception through to closing. Your responsibilities will include opening and organizing client files, conducting BC Online and corporate searches, and managing strata lot sale contract deposits. You will play a key role in transaction closings, assist with trust reconciliations and financial arrangements, and coordinate with the finance team on deposits, mortgage payouts, and holdbacks. Additional duties include preparing client invoices and expense reports, maintaining accurate contact information, and providing administrative support such as calendar management and travel coordination.

- Salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year.

What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience as a legal assistant in real estate law in a British Columbia law firm.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with BC Online searches and corporate registry systems.
- Experience with trust accounting and financial reconciliations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with legal practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
